During the the lead-up to the 2012 presidential election, Petplan Pet Insurance wanted to give pet parents a fun, tongue-in-cheek way to show off their pet and raise awareness for animal charities. For the Wag the Vote video contest on Facebook, pet parents nominated their “candidates” by posting a short video and “lobbying” on behalf of their favorite pet charity. The public voted to select the most “paw-sidential” pet personality video, and Petplan gave $5,000 each to the winner and the pet’s chosen shelter. || Co-concept & creative direction.
